Position Overview

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a comprehensive array of nuclear medicine procedures that necessitate a high level of expertise and proficiency. This role includes:

  • Training and orienting both senior and junior nuclear medicine technologists within the unit.
  • Conducting a diverse range of nuclear medicine procedures under supervision, such as nuclear cardiology, clinical imaging, gastrointestinal imaging, thyroid imaging, and SPECT imaging.
  • Executing quality control for pharmaceuticals and instruments.
  • Maintaining essential records for compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Acting as a resource for staff, physicians, and other healthcare personnel.
Job Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Non-Degree Program: Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program (Required)
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Nuclear Medicine (Required)
  • Supervisory Experience: General experience in supervising others (Preferred)
Work Schedule

Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
