Job Summary

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Technician to support our Quality objective. This role involves running first pieces on CMM, analyzing CMM reports, and providing necessary support to Manufacturing and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts with dimensional results
  • Calibrate CMM relative to the calibration program
  • Perform general gauge repair
  • Conduct capability studies as needed
  • Facilitate measurement system analysis
  • Perform special assignments as delegated
  • Conduct product qualification testing using laboratory equipment
  • Confirm results with secondary measurement systems
  • Collect scrap from the production floor at the end of the shift

Requirements

  • High School Degree or GED required
  • Ability to communicate with supervisors, operators, and machine programmers
  • Knowledge of CMM reports and results
  • Job prioritization and time management skills
  • CMM care and maintenance knowledge
