About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our team at RFA Engineering. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine time and cost feasibility.
  • Investigate equipment failures, diagnose/troubleshoot faulty operations, and provide recommendations.
  • Develop conceptual designs by applying design principles to meet requirements.
  • Create design concepts for complex engineering systems, including tube/hose routings, fabricated steel structures, mounting systems, and non-metallic components.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or hobbies.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Desired Attributes:

  • Experience working with Creo software, 3D visualization, and Teamcenter.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and design for manufacturability.
  • Ability to create detailed designs and collaborate with suppliers.
