Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist prepares patients for testing, assists radiologists during procedures, operates MRI equipment, and maintains supply inventory. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as certification in radiologic technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for MRI testing, including thorough screening and questioning
  • Assist radiologists during procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging
  • Operate MRI equipment for various procedures, maintaining high-quality images
  • Maintain supply inventory in assigned rooms, ensuring efficient workflow
  • Cover call duty as assigned, providing 24/7 support

Requirements:

  • ARRT certification in radiologic technology
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • NMTCB certification in nuclear medicine technology
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Work Environment:

This role is based in a hospital setting, with a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
