Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our Staff Development Coordinator role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing job skills training, in-service education, and employee health monitoring for nursing department employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Regularly assess C.N.A. skill performance, positive regard for residents, and developmental needs of direct care staff.
  • Provide one-on-one instruction and support to ensure staff competency and confidence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Registered Nurse licensure in your state.
  • Minimum three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with a preference for long-term care.
  • Active CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to long-term care.
