Ultrasound Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Supervisor to join our team at Manatee Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our ultrasound services, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of ultrasound technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and efficient department operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes, quality of care, and department efficiency.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and department operations.
- Completion of an approved Ultrasound School.
- 3 Years US experience.
- CPR certified.
- Supervisory experience desired.
- Registered and in good standing with ARDMS.
- AAS preferred or equivalent clinical/administrative experience.
