Psychiatric Technician

Job Summary:

ERP International is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Technician to support the 673d Medical Group at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, AK. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing mental health support to patients, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct initial assessments, including standardized psychological testing and clinical interviewing

Identify mental health diagnoses and provide patient education

Monitor and record patient progress, implementing precautionary measures to prevent injury or suicide

Assist patients with daily living activities, including nutrition, hygiene, and comfort measures

Obtain and record vital signs, coordinating with other agencies as needed

Requirements:

Certificate in Psychiatric Technician Program or equivalent education and experience

One year of experience as a Psychiatric Technician

Current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification

Ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance
