We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Specialist to join our team at Kimberly-Clark. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement occupational health programs and services to support the company's health and wellness strategy.
- Conduct health surveillance programs, provide health education, and conduct ergonomic assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Manage and deliver medical surveillance and medical clearance programs for site employees.
- Maintain all medical information in accordance with OH, Legal, HIPAA, and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and HR to ensure compliance with regulatory programs such as OSHA, ADA, HIPAA, and FMLA.
- Assist in accident investigation from a medical perspective and provide medical recommendations for risk assessments and surveillance.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Bachelor of Science with 3+ years of occupational health experience.
- Knowledge of epidemiology, occupational and environmental health, toxicology, safety, and industrial hygiene.
- Proficiency in computer software, such as operating systems, databases, and file management.
- Occupational Health Certification, NIOSH-approved Spirometry course completion, and CAOHC certification are preferred.
