Job Overview

Ohmcomm Inc is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and testing electrical systems, including security systems, CAT5 and RG6 cabling systems, and central vacuum systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Programming: Install and program security systems, including alarm systems, to a central station.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test all devices and ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Customer Training: Train customers on the use and operation of installed systems.
  • Retrofits and Upgrades: Perform retrofits and upgrades on existing electrical systems.
  • Stock Management: Manage stock levels and ensure that all necessary materials are available for installations.
  • Operational Support: Provide daily operational support to our builder clients, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Ability to manage multiple daily tasks, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to climb into attics and lift moderate weight.
  • Soft Skills: Strong focus on customer service, ability to manage and resolve solutions to issues, and ability to balance the needs of the customer while maintaining company objectives.
