Job Summary

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Enhabit Hospice team. As a LPN, you'll provide basic bedside care to terminally ill patients, taking and keeping track of vital signs, preparing and administering injections, and monitoring catheters and wounds.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic bedside care to terminally ill patients, including taking and keeping track of vital signs, preparing and administering injections, and monitoring catheters and wounds.
  • Assist with basic care such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, standing, walking, and eating.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, demonstrating compassion and empathy.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and alert doctors and others as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing and licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Valid state driver's license, automobile liability insurance, and dependable transportation.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
  • Previous home health or hospice experience preferred.
