Rocky Mountain Prep is an expanding network of forward-thinking public charter schools dedicated to serving students and families in the Greater Denver Area. Goals for the School Year:

  1. Maintain 85% staff retention

  4. Have 40% of 3rd-8th grade students meet their Accelerated Reader millionaire goal
  5. Meet network enrollment targets

Every member of our organization contributes to these objectives. School-based staff will focus on 2 or 3 metrics aligned with their specific roles and the overarching goals. As a Soccer Coach, you will be accountable for some of these metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the regulations of the school and the league.
  • Participate in mandatory preseason meetings.
  • Attend post-season coaches' discussions.
  • Regularly consult with the Athletic Director to assess progress.
  • Communicate promptly with the Athletic Director.
  • Utilize development opportunities provided by the Athletic Director and Network Athletic Director.
  • Organize, schedule, and oversee practice sessions (minimum of 2 times per week).
  • Notify the Athletic Director of any changes to practice schedules.
  • Manage a team of assistant coaches and any support staff.
  • Oversee and maintain equipment for the sport, including uniforms.
  • Communicate relevant information to players, families, and the broader school community regarding practice schedules, tryouts, and other program details.
  • Ensure appropriate supervision of the program at all times (locker rooms, practices, events, bus rides, etc.).
  • Promote a positive attitude and conduct among team members at all times.
  • Represent the school with professionalism in demeanor, language, and behavior.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Preferred experience and a solid understanding of the sport.
  • Strong teamwork and team-building abilities.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Spanish.
  • Demonstrated success in working with students from historically marginalized communities.

Compensation:

Coaching positions at RMP are part-time, salaried, and non-exempt. The total compensation for this role is $4,108, distributed in equal monthly payments throughout the coaching season. Coaches will collaboratively determine the distribution of this compensation prior to the season.

Eligibility:

All hired individuals must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Rocky Mountain Prep does not sponsor visas at this time.
