Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Porter to join our team at SP+ Corporation. As a Maintenance Porter, you will be responsible for performing facility maintenance duties and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure a clean and safe environment for our clients.
  • Walk the garage daily to identify and correct any maintenance problems.
  • Sweep and pick up around entrances and exits, as well as clean surface area rails and other areas as needed.
  • Empty trashcans and submit requests for repairs or maintenance.
  • Check safety items, such as gate arms, to ensure clearance bars are secure.
  • Provide ticket and record gate counters to the Manager.
  • Keep an inventory of janitorial supplies and maintain a garage/lot sweep sheet.
  • Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and other equipment as needed.
  • Shovel, plow, or blow snow from entrance or exit ramps and designated areas.
  • Report any safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Practice the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction and assist customers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous facility maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
