Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Care Unit. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, and advocating for the physical and emotional well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Associates Degree required.
- Registered Nurse licensed to work in the State of Kentucky.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
