Custodial/Sanitation Worker Job Description

At Martin-Brower, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial/Sanitation Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, as well as steam-cleaning or shampooing carpets.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and dust furniture, fixtures, machines, and equipment.
  • Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
  • Perform routine maintenance activities, including notifying management of the need for repairs and removing debris from sidewalks and parking areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • 0 to 6 months of general experience.
