ProMedica Physician Cardiology is seeking a highly skilled Heart Failure Specialist to join its dynamic team of experts. At the ProMedica Heart Institute, our mission is to provide exceptional cardiac care to our patients, and we are committed to helping them live their best lives.

As a Heart Failure Cardiologist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes General Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiac Imaging, Interventionalist, Electrophysiologist, and Advanced Practice Providers. We offer a collaborative work environment, shared call responsibilities, and opportunities to grow a robust mechanical circulatory support program.

Key highlights of this position include:

  • Collegial colleagues and a supportive work environment
  • Shared call responsibilities, including night and weekend rounding on a rotating basis
  • Growing Heart Failure program with opportunities to impact HF care on a community level
  • Opportunity to develop a mechanical circulatory support program and implement a hub-and-spoke model across a large tertiary care system
  • Shared care opportunities for LVAD and heart transplant patients
  • Dedicated Cath Lab time for heart failure procedures, including heart catheterization, implantable PA sensors, and endomyocardial biopsies
  • Outreach clinic opportunities at satellite HF clinics within a 1-hour drive from Toledo
  • Partnership with a diverse provider network focused on high-quality, patient-centered care
