Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $124,000 per annum, inclusive of a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Job Description
The role of a Physical Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy involves assessing patients and creating effective treatment plans to improve their recovery and functional independence. This position requires a positive environment, strong clinical decision-making skills, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The Physical Therapist will collect and record patient care data that follows format and guidelines of the patient care service, regulatory agencies, and third-party payers which reflects an understanding of reimbursement systems and their impact on patient care. They will also prepare for evaluations, select and administer tests and measures, synthesize evaluation results to formulate diagnoses, goals, prognosis, and plan of care, establish treatment plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, assess and reassess need for modifications to plans of care and goals, identify need for consultations, initiate and complete discharge plans, provide education/training to patients and/or patient support systems, responsible for treatment, plan of care, exercise prescription for patient caseload, provide interventions to patients that are safe, effective, and in compliance with JAG, oversee support staff of PTA, ATC, PT aides, attend annual JAG Billing and Coding seminar, promote JAG in the community through lectures/presentations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree is required, while a Doctorate degree is preferred. Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state practicing in is mandatory. Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in the relevant state (NY, NJ), valid CPR license, experience/knowledge with EMR software, excellent oral, written communication, strong clinical decision-making skills, excellent work ethic, dedication to patient success, basic computer skills, ability to work as a team member and individually with minimal supervision, maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
