Senior Accountant Job Description

Tapcheck Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Finance department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving financial success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily accounting activities, including the month-end close process, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and other financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Contribute to the preparation of internal financial statements and assist with customer and vendor reporting and analysis.
  • Support payroll processing and reporting, as well as coordinate with external auditors for interim and year-end audits.
  • Assist with accounting processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls, identifying process improvements and efficiencies.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of professional accounting experience, with a CPA certification preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting procedures and a thorough understanding of GAAP.
  • Strong internal customer service skills and excellent oral and written communication.
  • Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match, with a high level of integrity and judgment.
  • Ability to critically think and problem solve with minimal direction.
