About the Role
As a Home Health Aide at NursingJobs, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their own homes. You will assist with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Household Chores: Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
- Medication Reminders: Remind patients to take medications as prescribed.
- Vital Signs: Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Companionship: Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Transportation: Assist with transportation to medical appointments or errands. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) is preferred but not always required
- Basic knowledge of healthcare procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
