We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at CHRISTUS Children's Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients, including assessment, treatment plan development, and implementation.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university. You will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment plan development, and implementation. You will also assist with clinical aspects of the department, including program development, department operations, and Performance Improvement activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement treatment plans, including exercises, activities, and interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in program development, department operations, and Performance Improvement activities.
- Supervise and coordinate the Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant Student programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the State Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners of Texas.
- BLS certification is required.

CHRISTUS Children's Hospital is a 190-plus-bed hospital located downtown San Antonio, serving over 70,000 children annually. Our hospital is the only academic children's hospital in San Antonio, providing highly specialized services to meet the unique medical needs of children.
