Schneider is seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team as a Regional Intermodal Hauler. In this role, you will be responsible for hauling containers secured to company-owned chassis.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated weekly salary for this position ranges from $1,380-$1,680, based on industry standards and the location of the job.

Job Description

This local intermodal truck driver position offers a unique opportunity to work with 99% no-touch freight that is 75% drop-and-hook. You will drive in and out of railyards within Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and New York.

Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary, Schneider offers various benefits, including mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is also available for experienced drivers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
  • Live within 30 miles of Syracuse, NY.
  • Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
