Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and feeding.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to seniors, engaging in daily activities and conversations.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Transportation: Accompany seniors on errands and appointments, and provide transportation to medical appointments.
  • Pet Care: Assist with pet care, including feeding, walking, and grooming.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with seniors.
  • Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; ability to work with minimal supervision; and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Certifications: Current certification in CPR and First Aid required.
Working Conditions

As a Home Caregiver, you will work in a variety of settings, including private homes and assisted living facilities. You will be required to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, and may be exposed to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
