About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Holiday by Atria - Blair House. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our residents' apartments and common areas.

Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping Duties:
    • Provide thorough cleaning and sanitizing of residents' apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning of all surfaces.
    • Restock linens and supplies as needed.
    • Deep clean apartments as required, paying attention to details such as carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures.
    • Operate laundry facilities to wash and dry linens.
    • Follow company sanitation and safety procedures at all times.
  • Server Responsibilities:
    • Greet residents and guests with a smile and serve beverages, cereals, and/or soups/salads from the cart.
    • Clearly review the menu and take resident orders.
    • Serve meals and desserts, and bus and clear dishes from tables after meals.
    • Reset tables for the next meal, following proper sanitizing procedures.
    • Complete side work, including filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, and cleaning the coffeemaker.
  • Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Requirements
  • Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
  • Ability to retain orders and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
