Under the supervision of a physician or nurse, the LPN assists with patient assessments and treatments. Performs basic care interventions, diagnostic procedures, and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given. Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration. Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.
Requirements- Current license as a LPN required
- Associate's degree preferred
- Licenses: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of KY
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
