Travel Nurse Across America is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a prestigious medical facility. As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment, assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures
Monitor patients during procedures and maintain accurate records
Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards and techniques
Operate intravenous pumps and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
1 year of experience as an IR Tech
BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
State-specific licensing when required
Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
