We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Intermediate Unit team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with primary cardiac diagnoses and medical patients requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or a Compact State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
This role requires the ability to lift patients and patient care equipment up to 35 pounds, as well as push, pull, and move patients and equipment as needed. The worker must also be able to bend body downward at the waist and kneel. Visual acuity is required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, and viewing computer terminals. Auditory acuity is also required to identify auditory alarms in noisy environments.
