Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the month-end closing activities, ensuring meticulous general ledger management, journal entry oversight, and thorough account reconciliations.
  • Provide mentorship and direct support to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Lead the preparation and review of comprehensive financial reporting packages on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Manage the consolidation of financial statements utilizing advanced tools and oversee the elimination of inter-company balances.
  • Conduct detailed reviews and analyses of accounting transactions and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate the preparation of essential documentation for various financial transactions.
  • Act as the primary contact for external audits, facilitating the audit process and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Ensure timely completion of tax-related deliverables in collaboration with the Corporate Tax Department.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 12 years of extensive accounting experience, with a strong background in leadership roles within a reputable Public Accounting firm or a complex corporate setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline; CPA certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Oracle ERP systems and advanced Excel skills, with a focus on financial modeling and analysis.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with a proven ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information to various audiences.
