We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN to join our team at Northside Hospital. As a key member of our interdependent team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and achieving positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the care of laboring women and newborns, including stabilization and post-delivery care
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient and family needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment
- Participate in unit goal development and achievement, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia
- Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a RN, with certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Additional education, competencies, and certifications may be required for specific clinical units
- BSN degree
- National Certification in Clinical Specialty
