We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Nurse to join our team at OrthoAlliance. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in the Operating Room (OR).
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other OR staff during procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Monitor patient status and intervene as necessary during surgery, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Collect and document patient history, vital signs, and other relevant information, ensuring accurate and timely communication with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a seamless patient experience, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative care.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Ability to lift, handle, and assist patients, as well as handle instruments and equipment, is essential.
- Normal visual acuity and hearing are necessary for effective communication and patient care.
