Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other OR staff during procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Monitor patient status and intervene as necessary during surgery, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Collect and document patient history, vital signs, and other relevant information, ensuring accurate and timely communication with the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a seamless patient experience, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative care.
Requirements
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Ability to lift, handle, and assist patients, as well as handle instruments and equipment, is essential.
  • Normal visual acuity and hearing are necessary for effective communication and patient care.
