EMS Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMS Instructor to join our team at WSU Tech. As an EMS Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and training students in the field of Emergency Medical Services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver engaging and effective training programs for students in Emergency Medical Services.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Manage and supervise students in classroom and laboratory activities to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
- Maintain industry credentials and certifications as required for the teaching area.
- Ensure that each program meets the WSU Tech Course Standard and includes all appropriate curricular components.
- Current Kansas Emergency Medical Technician License or Kansas Paramedic License required.
- 3 years' work experience in the industry, preferred.
- Will maintain current EMS certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledgeable of the laws, regulations, and administrative processes affecting local, regional, and state pre-hospital emergency medical services systems.
- Thorough knowledge of the proper safety and handling of materials used in the field.
- Previous teaching or training experience in adult education preferred.
