About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic individual to join our team as an Assistant Wine Maker at Grape Escape Winery Inc. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks, from cellar operations to customer service.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for wine production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the winery, including harvesting, processing, and bottling wines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, leading groups of customers through the winemaking process and educating them about wine production.
  • Clean and maintain winery equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; agriculture or fermentation experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
