POSITION OVERVIEW
The Inventory and Purchasing Coordinator at Aetos Careers plays a crucial role in managing the inventory management system, ensuring that products are received and invoiced in an orderly manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Collaborate with the Warehouse Clerk and Purchasing Agent to generate a list of items that need to be reordered for approval.
- Obtain purchase orders generated by the inventory system.
- Monitor and follow up on pending vendor orders.
- Systematically input inventory into the management software.
- Label inventory items appropriately.
- Prepare and maintain weekly receiving reports.
- Handle the distribution and billing of inventory to various stores.
- Keep stores informed about back orders and pending shipments.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
- Plan and oversee quarterly inventory counts.
- Manage monthly invoicing related to departmental service requests.
- Assist the Purchasing Agent with departmental and project-related orders.
- Track and oversee incoming shipments for projects.
- Coordinate fleet repairs, maintenance, and procurement of necessary parts.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least two years of experience in inventory management and purchasing.
- Understanding of inventory levels and management.
- Familiarity with import processes.
- Experience with inventory management software.
- Ability to generate valuation reports.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
