POSITION OVERVIEW

The Inventory and Purchasing Coordinator at Aetos Careers plays a crucial role in managing the inventory management system, ensuring that products are received and invoiced in an orderly manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Clerk and Purchasing Agent to generate a list of items that need to be reordered for approval.
  • Obtain purchase orders generated by the inventory system.
  • Monitor and follow up on pending vendor orders.
  • Systematically input inventory into the management software.
  • Label inventory items appropriately.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly receiving reports.
  • Handle the distribution and billing of inventory to various stores.
  • Keep stores informed about back orders and pending shipments.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
  • Plan and oversee quarterly inventory counts.
  • Manage monthly invoicing related to departmental service requests.
  • Assist the Purchasing Agent with departmental and project-related orders.
  • Track and oversee incoming shipments for projects.
  • Coordinate fleet repairs, maintenance, and procurement of necessary parts.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least two years of experience in inventory management and purchasing.
  • Understanding of inventory levels and management.
  • Familiarity with import processes.
  • Experience with inventory management software.
  • Ability to generate valuation reports.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
