Lead Preschool Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a model classroom that embodies the principles of authentic Montessori education.

Your Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing a high-quality Montessori curriculum that fosters independence and self-directed learning in children aged 3-6.
  • Leading a team of teachers and supporting their professional development to ensure a cohesive and effective educational environment.
  • Collaborating with parents and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and supportive learning experience for children.
  • Managing classroom resources and budgets to create a unique and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have or will complete 2 clock hours of pre-service training requirements.
  • Have experience working with children aged 3-6 in a group setting, such as a preschool, daycare, childcare, nursery, or Reggio Emilia center.
  • Be passionate about guiding children to become independent and self-directed learners.
  • Be open to guiding your colleagues and being guided by them in turn.
  • Be eager to partner with parents on their child's journey.
  • Take pride in your work and be friendly with error.
  • Get energized and inspired by working with children.
