Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with referring physicians and patients to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Obtain and document patient medical history and personal information.
  • Prepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings to produce high-quality images.
  • Compare and analyze ultrasound images to identify diagnostic information.
  • Prepare and provide summarized findings to physicians in a timely manner.
  • Document patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Stay current with advancements in vascular technology and best practices.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Vascular Technology or related field.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Vascular Technologist.
  • Advanced knowledge of ultrasound equipment, procedures, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
