Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities
  • Following and adhering to resident care plans
  • Measuring and monitoring vital signs, reporting to supervisors as necessary
  • Observing resident conditions and reporting concerns to the nursing team
  • Serving meals and assisting with feeding as needed
  • Supporting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, maintaining a hygienic environment
  • Communicating with medical staff, residents, and visitors
  • Moving residents and repositioning them as needed
Requirements:
  • Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Effective organizational and communication skills
  • Appropriate bedside manner
