Job Specifications/Qualifications
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Saline Memorial Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role and a strong background in nursing education.
Education
A graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arkansas is also mandatory.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
A current BLS certification and ACLS certification are required. The ability to explain procedures and treatments to patients, administer prescribed medications, and prepare equipment for treatment and examination is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, including taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and recording significant reactions.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatment and examination.
- Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs.
- Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, and protocols.
