Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our projects and represent our company on the project site. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management direction of a project(s), including developing new business opportunities, meeting profit/expense objectives, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Responsible for all aspects of the project, including ensuring safety, quality, and all other aspects involved with the construction of the project.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Promote customer satisfaction by instilling a philosophy of customer satisfaction in all employees on the project.
  • Financial Management: Obtain all financial goals of the project, including financial forecasting, manpower forecasting, cash flow, direct job cost, invoicing, and contract management.
  • Administration: Provide for the administration of the project by determining the overall requirements for the administration of the project and planning accordingly to insure that proper staff is obtained from within the company.
  • Communication: Communicate information internally to the craft employees and company, and externally to the customer, ensuring that communication channels are open and information is flowing between the various segments required to perform the work.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8 to 10 years of industry experience, preferably in construction management, mechanical engineering, or business administration.
  • Education: A Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration Degree, or a high school diploma and 10+ years of experience in the mechanical contracting industry, including management experience.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of the mechanical construction business, including estimating, scheduling, and cost control; general knowledge of code requirements; ability to read all aspects of blue-prints, appropriate legal documents (contracts, liens, etc.); budget preparation; risk analysis; team building; negotiation skills; time management; computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets; ability to interface with many different types of people; and basic understanding of addressing issues with cross-functional disciplines within an organization.
