Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant/Homemaker Assistant to join our team at The Residence at Pearl Street. As a Resident Care Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their dignity, independence, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Assist residents with medications, as per state regulations and LCB Senior Living policies.
  • Engage residents in meaningful interactions and experiences, promoting socialization, cognitive stimulation, and spiritual connection.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident needs, preferences, and health status to the RN or designee.
  • Assist with escorting residents to meals and engagement, as needed or directed.
  • Document services provided, including incidents, behaviors, and out-of-the-ordinary events.
  • Participate in community on-going in-service training programs and specialized staff training programs, as requested.

Requirements:

  • Current license/certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent training/experience, as required by state regulation.
  • CPR and First Aid training, as mandated by the state.
  • Prior experience providing direct care or equivalent training preferred.
  • Experience in caring for seniors with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia preferred.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with office software, including word processing and data input.
