About the RoleWe are looking for an exceptional individual with strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Radiopharmaceutical Administration: Prepare and administer radioactive substances to patients, ensuring correct dosage and safe handling.
- Imaging and Diagnostic Procedures: Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment, perform diagnostic tests, and adjust settings to obtain clear and accurate images.
- Patient Interaction and Preparation: Explain procedures, verify patient identity, and prepare patients for imaging.
You will also be responsible for reviewing images, labeling and documenting test results, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Requirements and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Technologist (RT)
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a shift schedule of 8 hours per day. You will work closely with our experienced team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. A tax-free stipend will be provided to support your living expenses while working in Atlanta.
