Phoenix Staffing Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Hydraulic Crane Operator for a pipe-yard position. The ideal candidate will possess experience in operating hydraulic and crawler cranes, particularly in challenging terrains.


Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in crane operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret load charts accurately.
  • Understand and execute hand signals for material placement.
  • Conduct minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, including fluid checks and component assessments.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to supervisory staff.
  • Availability to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days a week.


Physical Requirements

  • Capability to push/pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
  • Repetitive use of hands, arms, and legs is expected.
  • Strong hand/eye coordination and depth perception are essential.
  • Ability to operate vehicles, forklifts, and various equipment.
  • Effective communication skills are necessary for safe operations.
  • Must be able to perform a range of physical tasks from sedentary to heavy work.
  • Experience with hand and power tools of all types is preferred.
  • Comfortable climbing and maintaining balance on various structures and equipment.
  • Frequent use of hands for grasping, lifting, and handling objects is required.
  • Position may involve prolonged bending, twisting, walking, crawling, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Ability to navigate uneven surfaces and work in adverse weather conditions.
  • May need to work in confined spaces.
