CMT Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled Special Inspector to join our team of experts in materials engineering. As a Special Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects by conducting thorough inspections and testing.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with applicable codes and specifications
- Verify that construction projects meet the required standards and regulations
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and testing
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in materials engineering
- High School diploma or equivalent
- ICC certification in one or more areas (Masonry, Concrete, Structural Steel, Fireproofing)
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and platforms up to 100 feet
- Ability to lift, twist, climb, and crouch
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
