Job Details:
We are looking for a Travel RN to work in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The position entails:
- Shift: Day shifts, 7 AM - 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as needed.
- Unit: Medical Surgical Ortho Unit 1
Qualifications:
- Active state RN license
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Step Down or Critical Care
- Experience in a large hospital setting
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Additional Information:
- First to float among units
- No local candidates will be considered
- Utilization of Epic EMR; navy scrubs provided
- Facility: 1,059 bed Magnet hospital and Level II trauma center
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-6
- Unit features: Acute care telemetry medical surgical unit with over 25 private beds, moderate to high acuity patients, no vented patients.
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required per facility guidelines
- Flu Vaccine: Status unknown per facility guidelines
