Summary of Responsibilities
The **Registered Nurse** will **design**, **implement**, and **oversee hospice services** with an emphasis on **community health education and practical experience**.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial, comprehensive, and ongoing evaluations of patients and their families.
- Deliver **nursing care** by utilizing the **complete nursing process**.
- **Evaluate** and **monitor patients' conditions** by creating **care plans**, **administering treatments**, and **assisting patients and families** in fulfilling their healthcare requirements.
- **Coordinate** patient care, liaise with physicians, and **inform** patients and families about self-care strategies.
- Maintain precise **clinical documentation** and ensure a **secure environment** for patients.
- Engage in **professional development** and case management activities.
- **Registered nurse** with a valid **nursing license**.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current **CPR certification** and **valid driver's license**.
- **At least** two years of nursing experience, ideally in public health, home care, or hospice settings.
- **Excellent** **communication** and **organizational abilities**.
- Capability to work **independently** and **oversee** hospice aides.
- Exhibit **strong nursing skills** and **problem-solving capabilities**.
