Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive patient experience. As an RN in our Surgical Orthopedic Department, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN preferred)
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (within 1 year of hire)
  • Other certifications may be required depending on the specific clinical area
