Job Summary:The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting with the preparation and care of surgical patients, as well as the setup and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist with the preparation and care of surgical patients
- Set up and use surgical instrumentation and equipment
- Communicate effectively with surgical team members
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies
- Graduate of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
- National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
- Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date
- Health Care Provider level CPR certification
- Previous experience in a surgical setting preferred
