We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at Carolina Biological Supply Company. This role will be responsible for maintaining the stability and integrity of our cybersecurity products and services.
Primary Responsibilities:- The successful candidate will function as a cybersecurity expert for Carolina, providing technical guidance to other cybersecurity and information services staff.
- Mangement of Carolina's cybersecurity equipment and software is also key responsibility.
- A strong understanding of Active Directory, including users, groups, and policies, is essential for this role.
- The selected candidate will work alongside Systems Administrators to manage security on endpoints (desktops/laptops).
- Experience with Storage Networks, replication, data security, and disaster recovery is desired.
- Ensuring security and networking devices have power protection is also crucial.
- Responsibilities include performing all backup and recovery tasks as they relate to the cybersecurity environments.
- The Cybersecurity Analyst will support Carolina's help desk by managing assigned caseload and offering technical support where needed.
- Maintaining technical expertise by staying up-to-date with the latest technology advances is vital for success in this role.
- Performing administrative duties as required and project-related duties are also expected.
- Supporting Carolina's networking infrastructure is an additional responsibility for this role.
- Advising on Carolina email systems as it pertains to cybersecurity is also part of the job description.
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a 4-year degree in Information Services or a related field.
Additionally, we require at least 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity hardware and software in a mid to large-sized corporation.
Formal training in Cisco cybersecurity devices and software, Microsoft operating systems and server/desktop software as it relates to cybersecurity, and extensive experience working on cross-functional IS teams is highly desirable.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
