Highway Maintenance Worker

This position is responsible for maintaining highways and bridges in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience operating medium to heavy-duty equipment, working with concrete, and performing snow removal operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate various types of medium to heavy-duty equipment, including loaders, dump trucks, and brooms.
- Maintain bridges, highways, and roadways, ensuring they are safe for the traveling public.
- Perform snow removal operations on roadways, using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Work with concrete, repairing and maintaining bridges and other infrastructure.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of experience maintaining roads and operating medium to heavy-duty equipment.
- Valid driver's license and a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within one year of hire.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
This position requires working in the field, often in varying weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures, humidity, wind, rain, and snow. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, toxic fumes/chemicals, and loud noises.
