Key Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in the field of dental assisting and hygiene, and be able to convey this knowledge to students.
- Effective Communication: Develop and deliver course materials, lectures, and assessments that are clear, concise, and engaging.
- Pedagogical Mastery: Utilize a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners, and be able to adapt to changing curriculum requirements.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure that all course materials, assessments, and evaluations are aligned with university standards and policies.
- Appreciation and Promotion of Diversity: Foster a culture of inclusivity and respect, and promote diversity and equity in the classroom.
- Assessment of Student Learning: Develop and implement assessments that measure student learning outcomes, and provide feedback to students on their progress.
- Utilization of Technology to Enhance Teaching and Learning: Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance teaching and learning, and stay up-to-date with the latest educational technologies.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning, and contribute to the improvement of university programs and services.
Requirements:
- An active Minnesota Dentist License
- Current BLS for the Healthcare Provider
