About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist to join our team at Providence St Patrick Hospital. As an EP Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating equipment, and assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, obtaining consent, and positioning them correctly
  2. Operate electrophysiology equipment, including defibrillators and pacemakers
  3. Assist physicians during procedures, including inserting catheters and administering medications
  4. Maintain accurate records of patient data and procedure results
Requirements
  • Current certification as an EP Technologist or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
