Role Summary: The Culinary Support Specialist plays a vital role in assisting the Head Cook with food preparation, cooking, and service. This position is crucial for maintaining records and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. The Culinary Support Specialist reports directly to the Head Cook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Participate in menu development and manage food purchasing orders efficiently.
  • Receive and inspect food deliveries for quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain daily food usage records and conduct monthly inventory checks.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate meal service and cleanup activities.
  • Ensure safe food handling practices and proper temperature control in food storage areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen facilities and equipment.
