SpaceX is seeking a highly skilled Welding Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our welding operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality welds and leading a team of welders to achieve our mission goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement welding procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Lead a team of welders to achieve production goals and maintain high-quality welds.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain welding documentation, including procedures, training records, and quality control reports.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior welders to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Identify and address any welding-related issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in welding, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving production goals.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, including GTAW, FCAW, TIG, and GMAW.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and weld symbols per AWS A2.4.
  • Knowledge of AWS D1.1, D1.6, and D1.2.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience managing more than 10 employees.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
